Parking Regulations & Towing Policy – Towns of Grants Lake
To maintain safety, order, and fair access to parking spaces within our community, the following Parking and Towing Regulations apply to all residents and guests of Towns of Grants Lake.
General Parking Regulations
Designated Parking Only
All vehicles must be parked only in designated parking areas.
No Double Parking or Yellow Line Parking
Vehicles may not be double parked or parked where yellow lines are marked on the curb or street.
Parking Permits
A maximum of two parking permits will be issued per unit.
Each vehicle must display its valid permit when parked in designated permit areas.
Permits must be placed on the lower passenger-side corner of the windshield, as instructed at the time of distribution.
Failure to display a valid permit will result in the vehicle being towed.
Assigned Parking Areas
Owners shall only park their vehicles in the permit space — covered or uncovered — assigned to their unit.
Permit Enforcement
Any vehicle parked in a permit parking space or a designated covered parking space without a valid sticker, or with an old sticker, will be towed.
Any vehicle with a new sticker parked in a visitor space will also be towed.
Resident Parking Requirements
Each resident must park one vehicle in their assigned carport.
Additional vehicles must use designated permit spaces near their unit.
Visitor spaces are strictly for guests only and may not be used by residents.
Guest Parking
Guests may only park in non-permit areas. Covered or assigned spaces are for permit holders only.
Guest vehicles may not remain parked in the community for more than two weeks.
Prohibited Vehicles and Storage
The following are not allowed to be parked or stored anywhere on the property:
Equipment, trailers, boats, RVs, motorcycles, dirt bikes, minibikes, or commercial vehicles not in regular daily use
Any vehicle without current registration and license plates
Any vehicle stored or left stationary for over 72 hours in common areas
After three consecutive months of habitual storage violations, the Association may take enforcement action per the Declaration.
Commercial Vehicle Restrictions
Commercial vehicles are not permitted to park anywhere on the property, including box trucks, 18-wheelers, and utility trailers.
The use of Association utilities by such vehicles is strictly prohibited.
Towing Policy
Unauthorized Parking
Any vehicle parked in violation of these regulations is subject to towing at the owner's expense.
Responsibility for Retrieval
Once a vehicle has been towed, it is the owner's responsibility to retrieve it from the towing or storage facility and pay all associated costs.

Additional Terms
These rules supersede any previous parking or towing policies in conflict with this resolution.
Appropriate signage will be posted throughout the property to ensure all residents and visitors are informed of towing enforcement.
