Clarification: Important Notice Regarding Attic Mounted Utilities for Upcoming Roof Replacement Work

Hello Homeowners,

I hope this email finds you well.

We would like to provide an additional clarification regarding our previous communication about roof replacement work.

After receiving further guidance from the City of Sugar Land, City staff advised that homeowners may choose to contact either a Residential Inspector or a licensed professional, such as an A/C technician, plumber, electrician, or other qualified contractor, to inspect the attic area of their unit.

The purpose of the inspection is to verify that any A/C refrigerant lines, water lines, electrical wiring, cables, or other utilities located in the attic are not installed too close to the underside of the roof decking and comply with applicable code requirements.

Please note that it is the homeowner's responsibility to arrange and coordinate any such inspection directly with the professional of their choice.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Property Manager directly at (346) 391-6896.

 Best regards,
